Rituals that honour the earth have been used by ancient cultures and
continue to be important and practiced still by the dwindling indigenous
cultures throughout the world. Ritual is about giving thanks for our basic
needs (food, shelter, love/nurturing), and by performing a ritual regularly,
however simple, we create a divine energy that is cyclicly returned to the earth.
Express your interest to be on our contact list for Full Moon gatherings etc.

WINTER SOLSTICE - 22nd June

The shortest day is when the mysteries are revealed.
A time of spiritual and psychic transformation.
Light a fire and take a ritual plunge to shed your old skin.

CANDLEMAS or IMBOLC - 8th August

A time for initiations, learning and networking.
Men and women gather and initiate younger people into natures laws and mysteries.

The earths magnetic energies are strongest at this reawakening of life.
Traditionally the time when gifts of eggs and rabbits were exchanged, or symbols of fertility.

A festival of love, uniting male and female – god and goddess. A night of revelry.
Dance and leap over the bonfire for good luck. Crown a Beltane Queen.

Celebrating the longest day of the year.
Time to honour the Goddess and her abundance with music, dance, feasts and gatherings of clans.

HARVEST or LAMMAS – 5th February

Perfect for magic and deep contemplation. Get out the screeing bowl.

SAMHAIN or HALLOWEEN – 6th May

The night of the spirits, a night to remember the dead and connect to the ancestors.
Light candles and let them burn down – a symbol of the descent into winter.

fruits in season at Eternity Springs

In our western civilisation, especially in the last 50 years, we no longer understand our
fundamental relationship with FOOD. We just buy it, all packaged, coming from anywhere
on the planet, in multinational supermarket chains.

We all live so far from our hunting/gathering ancestors, who had to pay attention to the ripening
of fruit and grains and the availability of food according to seasons and circumstances.
At Eternity Springs we can offer a small insight into grazing!
